Hi, I’m Kemal. I’m a robotics software engineer based in Ankara, Türkiye. At Node Robotics, I work on navigation and fleet software with a shared goal: making mobile robots easy to use.
I studied mechanical engineering at Boğaziçi University, then found my way into robotics during my master’s in Systems and Control Engineering. My research focused on safe robot navigation using artificial potential fields and deep reinforcement learning.
I started this site to keep notes on what I learn and explain ideas in the way I wish I had found them. I mostly write about robotics, C++, ROS 2, and software design.
